Time to add clean up crew?
My Ammonia has risen up to 8ppm, but now its below the readable level of 0.25 on my test kit.
ph 8.2
Ammonia 0.2
Nitrates 80
nitrites 8

is it OK to add some turbo snails and hermit crabs? one of my aquaculture rocks slofed a bunch of stuff off that's just on the sand now..

Whats a good starter fish to add?

My oyster is still alive, and i noticed i have feather dusters on my rocks.

you will need to wait until your amonia and nitrites are at 0. then you will need to do several water changes to get the nitrates down. when algae start to grow you can add some snails but do so slowly and dont add too many at one time say 6 to strart of several types. continue on with the water changes until you get your nitrates under 10ppm and preferably under 5ppm. if the sails live and cant keep up with the algae add a few more. when the coraline algae gets a firm hold/start you can then add a fish. caution though on additons, watch your water parameters and go slow. The are articles in the helpful article forum dealing with stocking and stocking levels, I would refer you there for a fun time in reading. good luck and happy fishin.
