invert problems
Hello I have had the same problem for about 9 months , all of my snails and crabs die . I have purchased them from different places , made sure I acclimated them properly etc . I don't know what else to do . My fish are fine and my corals also are fine . I have recent been fighting algae problems though . I have not ran across any articles where the snails and hermit crabs wont live .
Current Aquarium(s) Description: 75 gallon With 30 gallon sump , 12 gallon nano Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 3 years Other Intrests: reef tanks , motorcycles

What kinda of fish do you keep? Aso they may not be getting enough to eat if so try spirilina tablet to suppliment food.Hermit will pick off snails and kill each other as well.Some shrimp will eat snails also

If the snail shells are empty, or if the hermits are using them, your snails are being eaten. I would look for what could be dinning on your snails.
