I just started setting up my 75 today and am using a tidepool with sos overflow skimmer, was wondering if anyone has used a setup like this before. I am using a mag 7 sub. pump and everything seems ok although i took the overflow control rod completely out, it was the only way i could get my water to stay at the suggested water level. Just wondering if this is ok, its been running a few hours now and the levels in the overflow box and the tidepool have been constant.
