worms:S
On a new piece of live rock I purchased I have discovered a worm. I just saw its silouhette in the crevice of the rock, so, I can't even describe it let alone get a picture, but i was wondering if anyone can tell me if worms are generally a good or bad thing? should I try to get the peice of rock out to check it out closer? Thanks, I know it's a vague question. Anyone know a website where i can see the types of worms to see what it could be if i do get a better look

Re: worms:S
Most worms are reef safe. What you were describing sounds like a bristleworm-reef safe.
Maybe one of these pics might resemble what you have.....Melev's Reef - Visual Identification

Re: worms:S
Thank you for the website. From the brief glimpse I got of the worm I think it may be a peanut worm. It didn't appear to have any bristles...and seened to move as these are described to move.

Re: worms:S
Freak is right, most worms are fine, and in fact do an excellent job cleaning up your tank for you.
