Re: New tank

I think it would eat my smaller fish once it gets bigger and It said it should be in a 300 gal tank...It would be a cool fish though

Re: New tank

I like the looks of panthers and had them years ago. Back in the seventies when feeder gold fish were cheap (3 to 5 cents each). The only time my Lion Fish ever moved fast was when they had to compete with a Panther for live food. Surprisingly, when they want to, Lion Fish can really move.

Re: New tank

I wouldnt get the Ebay light they supposedly have a lot of problems and wiring issues and no warranty available. Did you decide if you were gonna get the tank drilled for a closed loop or not? Strip lights would work for the fuge IMO

Re: New tank

glad to see your going with octopus skimmer instead of coralife, i have octopus skimmer and totally happy with performance, also have a euroreef on another tank. You still going to use powerheads for flow i don't think you will get enough flow using return pump for flow only i have mag 18 for my return and is not enough flow at all unless you use flow enductors, i don't like having to much flow through sump i have 1200gph going through my sump on my 125 gallon.
