Re: New tank

i only went with mag 18 cause i was using 1200 gph u-tube style overflows and pump was on sale, plus i wanted internal return pump. on my 75 gallon i use 600 gph overflow with a mag 9 for return. don't like to strong of flow in my sumps cause last time i tried that i didn't have to many pods from extreme flow but now there are tons of pods and sponges growing everywhere this time now that i slowed it down.

Re: New tank

that depends on how much flow will go through your overflows.

Re: New tank

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...page number=1

ok im starting this thread back up so I dont over do it on my nano build one.

There is a tank thats local that has HOB sump. I called him and he has pretty much everything. I am going to ask him how much the tank by itself cost and I might get it and drill it and put in a closed loop system.

So fatman I need your help. If I can get the tank for cheap as dirt what do I need to do for overflows and closed loop system.
