What could this be??

So while helping my friend aquascape his tank (he said i could practice on his so when i get mine up and running i would have experience) i flipped a rock over and a black worm( what i think was one) retracted itself back into the rock. Now in no way do i consider myself a punk, but i almost dropped the rock onto a nice size featherduster. I never seen the creature before, does a black worm spark anything in anyones mind???
