starfish?????
i would like to get a starfish for my tank
which ones are actually reef safe, and not difficult to maintain Current Aquarium(s) Description: 90 gallon, 30 gallon sump, nova extreme pro, Oceanic 72 gallon bowfront 20 gal sump, 10 gal fuge Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 7 months Other Intrests: collecting guitars, reefing, family time |

do not get a chocolate chip star. a brittle or serpant stars are good

Yeah brittle and serpent stars are the best. Choc chip stars are definitely not reef safe and most other starfish are very difficult to maintain. They usually just unexpectedly die in short periods of time.
If you get a brittle star make sure its not green. The green ones can be very dangerous.

so it sounds like serpent star is the foolproof way to go

Green brittles will eat inverts & small fish (if they get too close).

Serpent stars are the way to go.And there is a reason the green brittles are called green death.
