skimmer gone wacko
ok so lets just say,i went off and did what yote told me not to do and put chemclean in my tank to help get rid of any cyano that i didnt get out by suction and water change
now my skimmer is going wacko and all it does is produce this crazy amount of foam turned it off when i added the stuff and have had it off for like 2 days did a 10% water change didnt help what do i do now????? i would run carbon, and keep emptying the skimmer when its full since the skimmer is sucking it all out

Run carbon,and do at least a 50% water change.Then you'll really have to watch the skimmer,but whatever you do,dont turn it off.Even if you have to empty the cup every 10 seconds.
And pray the chemi-clean killed all the cyano.If it comes back,it'll take a double dose of the stuff to have any effect.Which will work on the good bacteria too. And I didnt even say "Told you so"

I'd do 50% at one time.

You may have to just turn the skimmer off for a few days until things settle down and you get all the ChemiClean out.
