Re: Diary Review:Moving South,2007

I feel ya yote. I have lived here in idaho my entire life. you wouldn't think it but boise is actually a high desert. we get consistant 100-110 degree days here in the summer. and think about this, the first 19 years of my life my family lived without air conditioning. it was absolute hell. this year has been so bad that all over idaho is covered in forest fires its a 200 dollar fine to have a camp fire. nothing except propane is allowed, not even charcoal. I haven't even desired to camp this year being so smoky and no freakin camp fire!

Yeah Red,I've seen where y'all have had those fires.

My parents still dont have any AC.And they wont let me put them a system in.

Were in the same boat with camping to.All outside burning has been banned. But its been to hot to sit around around a fire anyway.

Re: Diary Review:Moving South,2007

well camping in the mountains at night cools way down and it sucks in darkness. the mountains surrounding us coold down considerably at night. oh well fingers crossed for next year. I would rather have summer heat the rest of my life than ever see snow in my city again though. course my main pleasure is my motorcycle. btw I know what you mean by the whole "blow dryer" thing. hot days riding on the freeways are EXACTLY that

Re: Diary Review:Moving South,2007

Sorry about the sunburn but I gotta tell you Yote, that diary had me laughing my a$$ off, hubby came from the back of the house to see if I had finally lost my mind. I don't mean to trivialize your agony but I REALLY needed the laugh, so thank you for the comic relief.

Re: Diary Review:Moving South,2007

Happy I could help Shihtzu.
That diary was actually something my sister in law got off the net some where, but it was funny as all get out.

Red,
I have seen it get hot enough to blow windshields out.I had a 76 Rally Sport Camaro that done that. All it takes is to forget to leave a small crack in the side window.
