be sure to bring a nice sized hand gun for the huge bears. people get killed up there. my neighbor that built my canopy lived the majority of his life up there by homer and always had a 45 on him

I got one of these for back up
Product: Model 500 Revolver I just cant stand to shoot it much.Even with ear muffs,3 shots is all my head can handle.

Alaska is trully a place to be. Winter is starting to roll in now though. The leaves are changing colors, moose hunting is about to end and the temps are in the mid 50's during the day. Soon enough there will be snow on the ground.

Alright Ak.Go ahead and rub it in.
 We aint seen a day in the 50s here since last janurary.And the last decent snow I can remember was back 93 or 94 when we got big blizzard in march. Moose hunting would be a blast too.I'd love to let the air out of a big 50 or 60 inch bull.
