Must see's in Vegas?
Okay, just got done planning with my friend we are meeting in Vegas in December. I've never been and I know Biff has and I think I remember seeing things others have posted but...... so many threads so short a memory. Don't know where they were. So anybody that has been tell me what you think are the must see's in town. Only going for 4 nights so will be limited by time but want to know it all so I have options. I have about 2 drinks a year so bars/clubs not necessary.

Re: Must see's in Vegas?
The Mandalay Bay Aquarium will take up a couple hours. It's not very impressive as far as saltwater goes, but still...
Dr. Marco says there are some amazing saltwater tanks in the Mirage and in Caesar's Palace. I'm going back in about 5 days and will check those out this time, as I didn't know about those before. The Imax Theatre in the Luxor is playing several 3D movies, one of them being "Deep Sea 3D". Be sure to watch the fountains "dance" at the Bellagio on one of the nights. I think there's a show every 30 minutes or so. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL -- and free!!! If you are interested in shows, I have seen three of the Cirque du Soleil shows. The tickets are steep (around $100 apiece) but well worth it, in my opinion. Hmmm... I don't have much else to say since I'm not including drinking, which is what I spent most of my time doing

Re: Must see's in Vegas?
I was thinking of the fountain show, and isn't there a show at treasure island too, or is that corny?
Let me know what you think of those aquariums Current Aquarium(s) Description: 55gal tropical 55gal Marine Reef Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 1 year |

Re: Must see's in Vegas?
There is a pirate show at Treasure Island, but it's every 1 1/2 hours, so if you miss it, you need to find something else to do in the meantime. There is also the volcano at the Mirage that erupts every 30 minutes or so. It's pretty cool too. Especially if you are big into fire and smoke.

That pirate show is great... Like 50 strippers wearing pirate outfits, barely covering their naughty bits...

Re: Must see's in Vegas?
the bass pro shop has a pretty decent aquarium and an awesome pond. If you like roller coasters the one at new york is fun.
everyone else has you covered on the aquariums to look at those are the best. I live only 2 hours away so I go there often. Like biff said if you can afford to see one of the Cirque du Soleil shows they are well worth it, my favorite is O.
