If lame = the new vegetarian, then call me lame. I'd starve to death pretty quickly out there.

Re: going camping

Since I was 12. I was a vegan from 12 to 20, and I've been a semi-vegan for the last 5 years. I still don't drink milk or eat eggs, but I will eat ice cream, cheese and yogurt in small portions. That's about all the dairy I eat. Still no meat, fish, meat broth, I don't wear leather, etc. Not going to say why, as it usually devolves into arguments about what's moral, natural and/or ethical and it's just not worth getting into on here, so please, don't anyone.

I know what you mean biff. I have a friend who is a vegetarian as well and each time she ends up in some moral argument...im sure it gets to be very annoying after a while.

Exactly!

That kid is going to lose out on a lot of important human struggles that build character.

Re: going camping

Yes. Annoying to say the least. It is beyond me why some people find my dietary habits a topic that is of such personal significance to them that they must interrogate/insult/make fun of me for what I choose to eat and not eat. Does me being a vegetarian really impact you that much? No? Then leave me alone about it. I don't tell other people how/what to eat. NDB is a meatatarian who eats bacon sandwiches and raw steaks, and that's fine with me as long as he doesn't start telling me that I need to do the same.
