Re: Camera prices in Alaska

Picture are evidence, my word has no credibility in court for defense or prosecution as I am a convicted felon therefore not credible. But pictures, I have gone to jail for less evidence than pictures provide and paid out the ying yang for less in divorce courts. As far as the government is to be concerned I am a poor if not destitute, disabled veteran with a felony record and they need to know no more. When I went to one pretrial hearing over the drug "incident" Yahoo had given the courts a three year history of my Internet URL visits without their even having been provided a subpoena. And I never even thought about Goggle cam. We have very few real constitutional rights anymore.

Fatman if you want to rant about lack of freedoms and how I feel the country is headed, feel free to drop me a PM anytime. I am a patriotic vet, I love my country just not what it does lately. Gonna jump off this topic in viewable posts. Big brother is watching.

Re: Camera prices in Alaska

Fatman,
I do know that Fairbanks Fast Photo has really good prices on their cameras. And they also carry a better selection than the national chain Sams. Besides, I prefer to do local business anyway. I have the digital rebel and really like its features. I also have the touch screen sony compact and just bought a canon powershot sd790 that I think blows away the sony.

have fun and enjoy our awesome weather we are having

Bubba

Re: Camera prices in Alaska

I did not know that Fairbanks Fast Photo was still in business. Where are they now located?

Re: Camera prices in Alaska

Fast photo was a nice store. The price of the Rebel was within $10 of the Sam's Club price. It looks to be even a better option then the D60 for lense options. I would definitely want to get a macro lense and tripod also. Now to try to wait for the first of the month checks to show up. I hate waiting. It is so much more fun being compulsive.
