local salt club

what does it take to start a reef club there is none around where i live. what do you guys think that it would take to start one.

I hate to promote another site. But if you got RC to make a page for it and give it a name you will find semi-local people. Also you could make up fliers and put them in all of the local pet shops whether they sold fresh or saltwater. If you build it they will come! Most clubs "meetings" are in diners for coffee. My local aquaria club(which I dont belong to, shame on me) has meetings once a month in a church basement.

i started to make a page once but gave up on it just not enough time then but it would be nice to meet people around here. at least get a frag swap going or something.

Have you check RC for local organizations? Thats about the only thing I can stard to use that site for is the club section.
