ok so I mention in another thread about a possible 46g bow front w/stand for $100 bucks I saw on my local reef club site. I in fact saw him mention this to another member who was looking for a smaller tank so I decided to PM him that I was interested and if he could give me details. The first couple days went by and no response which I thought was odd because he is a very active user and respected member and I noticed he hadn't been on much when I was on. Then I saw that he posted one day so I figured I would shoot him another PM saying "not sure if my pm went through to you the first time but yada yada yada" so still no response after 5 more days. I have seen him active when I was on, but for some reason he won't respond even to say "sold" or "decided not to sell". He seems to be a very helpful guy on the site and not someone to give the cold shoulder, he actually has given things away for free. What do you suggest I do? Should I PM him again or ignore the whole thing?

Re: Need member advice
Thats a tough one, odds are he sold it and didnt bother replying to you. I would probly try one more time and just state that you hope you arnt bothering him, but still want to know the status of the tank.

Re: Need member advice
I'd do like Ironman says, send one more PM, and if you hear nothing back, write the tank off. No idea why someone wouldn't just simply respond back to say, "Sorry, don't have it anymore."

Re: Need member advice
I would send him a PM asking if he received the first message that you were interested in the tank. He may have another interested party jerking around if they want the tank also, maybe for more cash. I would give it one more shot !
