Vacation this year meant going to camp for two weeks and building a new guest camp. (We are the main guests as the camp is actually my parents)Rained for two weeks straight, cold, flies were stupid, worked my ass off and it was still better than a good day at work! Anyways, hope you weren't expecting anything exotic!

Thats my parents camp, its actually in my hometown in Northern Ontario Canada. The town is called Missanabie, and when I grew up there there were about 500 people. Now that the mine is closed, there are 37 full time residents and the rest of us just go back to fish.....lol!

You're right though, the lake is beautiful, and the fishing is great!

Naw, they've all gone shack wacky! lol! They are mostly retired, or work in tourism...
And yes, the eye is a little guy, my wife took a pic cause it was the first one of the season for us. After that it got too crazy to take any more pictures....(;

BTW, I've pulled 10lb'ers out of there, I've seen many over 13, a few over 15 and one over 16.
And 20lb lake trout, 20lb pike and 5lb smallmouth are all common....(:
