Re: shitty news

I'm sorry for your loss. When animals are put down, they don't just get thrown in the trash. They get cremated, and you have the option (for a price) of getting the ashes returned to you in a nice urn. If you don't choose this option, their ashes get spread in nature, wilderness or a farm nearby. I've had to put down a couple of my cats over the last several years, and it always hurts.

Re: shitty news

It's hard losing a pet after so long, they become a big part of your life and a memeber of the family. My Brother got a cat christmas day when he was 5, i was just born that september. Muffin (the cat) passwed away about a month before my 21st birthday. 21 year old family member is hard to lose.

keep your chin up and sorry for your loss.

Re: bad news

I know how your feeling.

One of our dogs has been with us for 18 years and it looks like we are going to have to put her down.

She is a Border Collie mix.

Poor thing, her eyes are all cataracted, she cant eat hard food any more, arthritis everywhere, hearings not so good. And shes on as much medication as my 90 year old grandmother. But she seams happy still so thats why we haven't put her down yet. Its probably gona kill my mom when we have to though =(
