Personally I thought the movie was great. Ledger stole the show over one of my favorite actors Christian Bale (if you haven't seen "The Machinist" or "American Psycho" go rent it now). There was so much pressure on him to perform and then there was the whole death thing that added to it. I didn't like that he licked his lips more than LL Cool J, but other than that he was great. My girlfriend actually had a nightmare about the Joker that night.

With all that said, I think I liked the first movie better. I am a sucker for seeing how superhero's become what they are, I love anything to do with escaping from prisons, and didn't remember anything about "Scarecrow" so it was more interesting.

I have no idea what the next movie will be like. Will it be the Penguin? Will a new Joker make an escape from Arkum(sp)? The Riddler, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Cat Woman, Robin, Bat Girl, Bane????????

With Bales shenanigans in England who knows what will happen. Riddler if I had to guess. As long as Frank Miller signs on Ill watch it. Ledger did a good job as an actor but I dont like his version of the Joker. Nickolson nailed that forever in my mind! Ledger just didnt provid that dark humor aspect that is the Joker. Except for the Hospitol Kaboom scene that was hilarious.

everyone glorifying the miovie i expected better the joker(sorry im extremely bad with names let alone actors) did steal the movie in my opinin and made the movie somewhat humorous but thats about it in my personnal rakn grade whatever u wanna call it id give it about a 7/10 how it blew spiderman of the chart well thats beyond me

Havent seen it yet because of all the hype. I'll wait a week or two until it clams down a bit. I hate standing in line for a movie.

It's an OK for me. I watched it on the drive-in movie with the kids and enjoyed the beers more than the movie. I like the fact that it is filmed here in chicago adn loved seeing some familiar places on the movie.

Alto,they already had all those characters in a Bat flick except for Bane.

Reef these are all being done by Frank Miller, the graffic novel god. Its the darker version of Batman and his cohorts. The way they were made in Millers eye makes for a much better story.

I am hard to please with movies. They've made like 3 or 4 Batman movies in the last 10yrs. Jack Nicholson is forever THE Joker. I don't like standing in long lines. Couldn't care less about the acting/hype by Ledger, the Joker is supposed to be funny. I'm cheap as hell.

I'll pick it up for $2 at the used DVD store in about 24 months.

I just saw it on imax. Very awesome. I think ledger did a great job. It was the same character played in to completly different ways.I don;t think you can compair the to jokers.
