That tang is too way to big for that tank. It looks a bit over cramped. Def not worth 10 K or 8K

I wouldn't pay more than $1000--$1500 for that if I was close enough to go pick it up. It's USED. Used hobby stuff is worth about 15%--25% what you paid for it.

Just another one of those douche-bags who things everything HE has is gold plated.

I don't think anyone will buy it. Experienced reefers know it's not worth 1/2 what he's asking for it. So you can scratch experienced reefers off the potential buyers list. INEXPERIENCED reefers won't pay that much for something they don't know how to take care of.

He'll be sitting on that thing for a LONG time before he finds a sucker to give him more than $1500 for it.

I think he'd have better luck if he parted it out and sold everything separately. He could get $5 to $50 for each coral, even more for the fish, a few bucks a pound for the rock and sand, and then he could clean the equipment so that it looks "like new" instead of "obviously used".
