Re: Tattooed? Show Your Ink!

I only have black as well, classic life Biff. The mind can convince us of anything, so my guess, not knowing if the viscosity of the ink differs at all, if that it is all in his head. They don't change to a bigger needle to add the color. Same needle, same depth, same pain

Re: Tattooed? Show Your Ink!

My guess is that since filling in with color means a tighter pattern of needle passes, the skin is just more sensitive by then

I always found that the outlining hurt more than the shading though.

Re: Tattooed? Show Your Ink!

when they color its usually the same as shading ends. typically 8-13 needles. its usually what I have found much easier to take than outline, but that might just be that by the time outline is finished up your so beat up that you don't care. either way it would be the same thing be it red yellow white whatever. same ammount of needles and same depth so I dunno

Out line bad! Color and shading good! I have never noticed a difference in colors on ink though. Maybe your endorfins are wearing off towards the end and the last colors hurt more.

Re: Tattooed? Show Your Ink!

actually, I had never heard of different colors hurting worse until after I experienced and talked about with others. It was more of a stinging like pouring gasoline in a cut, but you could be onto something with you're theory hawk. the yellow was the last color to go down. maybe my estrogen was overpowering my testosteron there at the end. just call me nancy!

Re: Tattooed? Show Your Ink!

Estrogen has nothing to do with it. I have no testosterone, but I'm no nancy when it comes to tattoos.
