I have an anchor on me, most people don't notice it, its in the shield on my family coat of arms.

Its my subtle anchor that has nothing to do with my affiliation to the us military.

Here's my first, taken when i got it 5 years ago.
I designed this one and it symbolizes my transition from growing up in NY and now living in Texas. I kept the twin towers cause that's how I'll always remember NYC. The lizard and sun represent texas to me. I love lizards.



And next week we're going to Long Island to visit family so I'm gonna stop at this place to make an appt and put down a deposit. They're booked solid for months and I called too late to get it done over thanksgiving so I'll have to fly back. This time I'm going to get a traditional koi tattoo because I've always loved those. But I'm going to try to do something a little different with it. I want it to start inside my wrist, maybe just a couple water drops... real subtle. Then it's going to start to build as it spirals up my arm over the side of my elbow and up to my upper arm/shoulder where it becomes more full coverage. I'm hoping to get a general idea of how long it will take when i go in to the shop next week. I have a feeling it will be done over two days due to its size. I better start saving! Anyway, here's the website. These guys are awesome! And the owner was written up as one of the top couple artists in the NYC area.
