They'll eat your fish, crabs and shrimp.

the snow flake eel is the most doscile of rhe eel's but i still wouldn't risk it.
I think larger fish would be ok but you would never be able to keep shrimp and such

Re: will this be reef safe???

I keep a white-eyed moray eel in my work tank and I think they are one of the only eels, except for the zebra moray, that are OK for reef tanks. I have three cleaner shrimp in with him and he lets them crawl all over him to clean, even his mouth. I have had him for about 8 months now and no problems. I had him in my home tank for about a year before that with no problems as well. Great animal. They are really slow eaters which I think makes them safer.
