Coral beauty

I was thinking that it might be smarter to add all my fish and live rock before I start adding any corals just to make sure there not producing to much nitrate.I like coral beauty so ive heard that it is reef safe but read that it can nip at coral. What do you guys think?

Re: Coral beauty

You pretty much answered your own question-reef safe with caution.I'm sure some will say there's never touch a corals and others will.Your choice, you have a 50/50 shot that they will.

Re: Coral beauty

I've owned two coral beauties and neither of them ever nipped at corals. Probably the safest of the angels, IMO.

Re: Coral beauty

ANY angel is prone to nip at corals.I took the same chance on a flame angel and so far so good.
