what fish is this

i went on a small vacation to the nugget in reno nevada and OMG they had this amazing HUGE tank

but i kinnda saw this small little fish he would stay at the bottom get sand and disperce it at the bottom what fish is that i didnt get a good view of it all i know is he was white just like the sand

from were i stood he looked like an eel small eel

it's some kind of a sandshifting goby.

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 120 gal aga reef and 6 yr old 29 gal fresh converted into reef(softies/anemone tank)

the one i saw swam about an inch from the sand while dispercing the sand

I think a goby is going to be my next fish. Blennies can be a good choice to do this too but I hear they can get aggressive at time's

a lot depends on tankmates and the size of the tank. blennies will not be aggressive with larger or more aggressive tankmates
