Id My Tang
i got this from aquatic reef yesterday.....
  can anyone id it? Current Aquarium(s) Description: 120 gal aga reef and 6 yr old 29 gal fresh converted into reef(softies/anemone tank) Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: newbie

it looks exactly as a carribean yellow tang...very nice...kimoy your tank looks awsome, can you take a full shot??..your polyps are awsome!!!, very colorfull tank..

I'm guessing either a yellow mimic tang:
Yellow Mimic Tang (Mimic Lemon Peel Tang) - Acanthurus pyroferus or a juvenile Atlantic blue tang: Atlantic Blue Juvenile (Yellow Juvenile Coloration) Tang - Acanthurus coeruleus

thanks Biff...i found out that it is a juvie atlantic blue. it was sold as a hybrid blue tang, but i still got it cheap for $30.

He's so cute.
I just added a acanthurus pyroferus, but it is mimicing a half black angel instead of the lemon peel angel. Mines about the same size as your little tang. great fish. They grow to be MONSTERS. The books say about 10 inches, but in the tank at Caesars Palace in Vegas, they are HUGE. I love them.
