Jus had to buy one.
I was visiting my LFS with no agenda (always a bad idea for me) and I found two corals. I want to see if all you smart people can figure out which is which just from the closed up pics. One is super easy (SPS) and the other, not so much. Good luck at guessing.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
I don't even know what the first is.Maybe some kind of branching porite coral.
The second is deflated, looks like a wall bubble or fox coral. Congrats non the less.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
I agree with Freak. The first appears to be porites. And I think the second is a bubble coral.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
i am thinking that the first MIGHT be a montipora digitata, and the second i agree with reef and biffy-poo.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
I'm thinking like keeper on the first and every body else on the second.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
hmmm. So far, none right (unless the LFS labeled the wrong SPS). The SPS is orange and came out just before the lights went out. The LPS did not open much. Keep guessing.

Re: Jus had to buy one.
Whoa, really? I'm probably going to guess that your LFS had it mislabeled.
Is the second one what they call a pearl coral?
