Re: Reef's Update:The Old is New Again.

It still a work in progress.I'm trying to move away from soft corals, trimmed an sold the colts and still working on getting rid of the xenias. At this time,I'm not dosing anything and just doing 30-40 gallon water changes a month.Akalinity,pH and calcium has been consistent over the last 6-8 months.

What you can't see in the pics is a bad aiptasia outbreak.Something I need to fix before adding anymore corals.BTW,the lights is an Aquactinic T5-HO lighting system.

dom your xenia is outta control, but your frogspawn is massive now and your candy canes are looking a million percent better, if you want to get rid of your xenia so bad you could always pawn off the rock for some nice frag to someone

Dominick,

you are still the man, although, you should have a shark in your tank...

Re: Reef's Update:The Old is New Again.

I feel the same, Freak. I've never seen the appeal of predator tanks. Of course, when we go to the LFS, those are the animals that NoobDeBiff is instantly drawn to, "Can we get this? Can this go in your tank?"... He really loves rays. Someday, when I either go crazy or broke, I may sell off everything in my 240 and turn it into a ray tank for him.

Re: Reef's Update:The Old is New Again.

it because predators are awesome and that is the first place i go to in my LFS' one has a lot of sharks and the other store has a full grown zebra eel swimming around
