just tought i'd share my clams with ya'll
  just a question i feed them about once every 3 days but my maxima seems to have the mouth open alot is that normal the 2nd pic (sorry forgot the name of it) is starting to get some blue in it (the outer rim) yey!!

They stay open because, like corals, they are photosynthetic. That's normal.

watch the clams closely, they tend to like being placed on LR or something that they can attach their foot. I learned this the hardway. My crocea was struggling and I moved it to LR and it is doing great. I left my newer Teardrop Maxima in the sand and it died.

thankfully. Thats the first thing they told me
Also I think it was you alto that was having trouble with them staying upright my little one keeps getting on its side what can I do to keep her upright? And biff before u say anything yes it does matter to me
