Okay, I was able to ID the first one... When I turned the lights off, it completely opened up to about the size of a nickel. Turns out it's a "Caribbean corallimorph" (Pseudocorynactis, spp.) -- a type of shroom. It's clear with white bubbles on it. Yay! What I also didn't notice is that there's another one right behind it. So two of the five are good guys.

The other three, well it seems that the concensus is majano . I'll keep an eye on them!

oh so ares are mojano but what harm do they do

The rocks that the hitch hikers came on are from my LFS. I have only found one hitch hiker on the Drs. Foster and Smith rock so far, and it looks to be aiptasia .

see if you can grow your aptasia larger than mine. I think my largest one is now 4.5 inches diameter now
