Bulkheads...

How tight do I make these bulkheads? hand tight? pliers tight? tight like a tiger?

1/4" acrylic

With acrylic I would use pliers but not too tight. With glass you only tighten them hand tight so the glass dont break, but with acrylic you should be OK

I just hand tighten mine though. As tight as I can get it.

on mine i went hand tight, then a slight snugging with pliers.

I made the mistake of tightening mine too hard. They began to leak and I had to cut them off to get new ones on. Its best to tighten them as litttle as possible so you can still tighten them harder if they leak.
