Got An Idea
what if u bought fiji plate live rock of tongas shelf rock and covered the whole bottom of the tank with it instead of using sand. perfectly fit and shape the rock (large pieces) so it fits the button of the tank perfectly, no large spaces but leave some for fish to hide in. and then cover the whole back wall with live rock, like 5-7 inch thick. this would give you the ultimate reef feeling. when im gona be doing a bigger tank, i wil m might do this.

Re: Got An Idea
Sounds cool but I dont know if maintenace and retrieval would be a problem, I think that it would collect poo and other organics, but it definately sound great in principle.

Re: Got An Idea
Sounds like an idea. I'd be interested to hear how it works out. Just don't put a diamond goby in your tank, that thing'd be so confused!
