New euphyllia!!
Check out my new edition to our tank! Got him out of the scrap pile for cheap so he is small right now but he fit the college budget. Does anyone know what type he is? The employee at the fish store told us that we do not need to feed him, he will pick up food floating around. Is this true?

You got yourself a really nice piece of hammer coral. Congrats! The LFS guy is correct, there's no need to directly feed it, but you can if you want. I have a frogspawn and torch (both also Euphyllia), and once in a while I place pieces of mysis on their tentacles and they'll eat the food.
