What is it?
I turned over a piece of rock at the top of the pile and saw something new. Its small, flower like, mostly translucent with some dark parts, when something comes near it retracts into a tiny dark stem. It is now high up near the lights (10K Actinic) 8 hours a day. What is it? Also is it too much light for it?

featherdusters are just fine in your tank. they sell for about $10 a piece out here. cool little buggers. good hitchhiker. I just found one in my tank the other day as well

Good find. One of the more common hitch hikers to find on live rock. Like Dr. Marco said, you can buy them at your LFS too.
