T5 question

supose i had a 36 watt t5 4 strip, and a 52 watt florescent 50/50. which would be the better choice for a 12 gallon, about 15 inch high.

Re: T5 question

15 inches high with flourescent or t5's? thats awfully high. I keep my T5's about 4-5 inches over my tank. Id say the T5s anyday over any CF's no matter the wattage almost...

Re: T5 question

T-5s are the best bang for the buck.Their no where near as expensive as halides, dont produce the that haildes do,and you only have to replace bulbs every 12 to 18 months.

Re: T5 question

MH get very very hot. With the small tank I would go with T5's.
