Re: tank found on craigslist

what is the deal with the PS3 getting $700 off. Does this mean he would buy it off you or that he just likes PS3 owners that much. To be honest though, at first the setup looks nice, but the granite like thing once you look at it harder doesn't look all that sweet.

Re: tank found on craigslist

id probably get a new stand and canopy cause i mean were are you gonna match that in your house. but even after buying the stand and canopy its still a nice deal cause you cant buy that big a tank and the equipment for that cheap. haha but if you really have some money laying around i found this guy selling a 900 gallon with stand canopy and equipment for 18 g's

I'd also pass on that. The lights that it comes with aren't suitable for a reef tank.

Re: tank found on craigslist

The stand looks hideous-like the marble/lacquer gaudy furniture from the late 80"s.The owner could of cleaned the tank before posting pics of it.And the only thing worth while is the Icecap ballast which could run some T5 bulbs instead of the VHO he has.My 210g.RR,standpipes,modern stand, glass tops was $1400.I would past on it myself.
