Question Starfish

ok i have tons of little white starfish all over my tank and i think hawk had this problem awhile back......so are they good or bad

If their the asternia stars,then I'd remove em.Better safe than sorry.

I would remove them. I've heard too many stories of asterinas being harmless for a while, then BAM, all of a sudden they are eating corals.

How big do these asternia get? I have noticed two starfish in my tank the past ocuple days. They are about 1/2" diameter. Whiteish tan color.

Asterinas that I have seen have never gotten bigger than a nickel or so. They stay pretty small.
