Cloudy Water

Over the past few days I have noticed that my water is a bit cloudy. It isn't too bad, but it definatly noticable. Over the past month I have ran Purigen, and lastnight I removed the purigen and added SeaGel (phosphate remover). I haven't ran straight carbon since I ran Purigen.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Cloudy Water

Removing the Purigen may have cause a bacteria bloom. That'd be my guess.

Nope, it was cloudy before I removed the purigen.

Re: Cloudy Water

adding kalk can make things cloudy. If is has been like that for just the day you added it, that could be it. especially if you used the powder and it didn't mix wellin RO water first. It can be that way for two-three days.
