Refills For Salifert Test Kits?

I'm running out of Alk and Calcium. Is there a place to just buy the chemicals and not pay for the entire kit again? I don't need the syringes, test vials, color charts, etc... Just want the chemicals in the bottles.

You can't get refills, and you may not be able to get anymore kits either except for what the stores have in stock now. There are some internal issues in the company and lots of kits are of out stock. Supposedly they will be straightening out their issues and have more kits coming out.

I guess it's time to switch to Lamotte kits.

Check out the contents of this URL http://www.sjsu.edu/faculty/chem55/55mgca.htm
It might be more than you want to know, but it tells you exactly what you are doing when doing a calcium and an alkalinity test. It tells the chemicals used and the formulas for the preparations along with the procedures. If you like this kind of stuff it is a pretty short concise writeup.
