Lionfish?

How big of a tank would I need to keep a lionfish? I just love them and would love to have a small tank with just him and a bit of rock. I was wondering if I could keep it in something small enough to go on an end table or countertop

Re: Lionfish?

bummer, I always thought they'd be happy in a little tank as they aren't huge swimmers. Thanks for the quick reply

Re: Lionfish?

ive read they grow very fast!! and need space for their spines too..or it will hurt himself...and to be carefull not getting sting when working at the tank..so space is a must!!
