Is it ok to lean a 5 lb or so rock on the back glass?

Sure. Just try and leave some space for water to flow around it so detritus doesn't get trapped behind it.

I have alot of rocks on my back glass. I havent seen a scratch yet and it hasnt cracked and sent a new orleans flood in my living room either.
