my clam is growing zoas!!!!!

my clam is growing zoas!!!!!

how cool its the brown with orange center zoas and its on the shell of my clam

should i remove it will it eventually harm my clam

it just appeared over night i tought it was a piece of dirt or poo . do zoas juts appear out of nothing??



and also what you see isnt a "neck'' its a closed zoa its actually 2 on the clam

I don't think they would do any harm on the shell like that.

i think that they will be fine untill they start to grow all over the shell then they could possibly become a problem.

i really dont know what to say just ecause i dont know if they will be harmfull down the road. if it were me i would try to relocate them but that is me.

They will spread, but I don't think they'll harm the clam unless they are touching the clam's mantle. I'd leave it alone.
