thats why i like my hang on overflows(utube style) they haven't got clogged or lost siphon and doesn't take up all the room in my tank. there are better ways but at the time had to go cheap. i ordered mine from hurricanefilters.com the brand is quietflo.

Best to worse: back of the wall overflows > hang on back overflows > simple stand pipe overflows > "Reef Ready" over flows > no overflows.
