saltwater plants
i see some in my LFS s tanks
whats your take on the plantsfor reefs?

I have no experience obviously but from what the experts have told me is that the ones that the fish like won't last long in the main tank and some of the plants will grow like weeds if left alone. I was thinking of using Maiden's Hair for a hiding place for pods in the tank.

I personally would never use caluerpa and never use macro-algae in the display.Some of the stuff I may try in addition to chaeto is shaving brush and mangroove.The three,I mentioned,are less evasive and doesn't die(asexual) like others.

My chaeto is getting out of control. Its growing everywhere. I just added a bunch of hermits, a crab and a shrimp to see if they can clean it up.

I don't plan on ever adding plants to my DT. I would, however, add a macro-algae to the sump.
