Sand bed questions

I just picked up three bags of Seachem Grey Coast Live Sand. The stuff was at Petsmart for 7.99 a 22lb bag. I pick up all they had. I'm thinking of running it in the fuge section of my new sump, is there a chance this can make it to the display tank? I ask cause its black and I don't think I want black sand in my display tank.....wish I could find pics of it though

Re: Sand bed questions

i think you should be fine with the sand staying where it should be as long as there is no way for it to get into the return line

Re: Sand bed questions

As long your not running so much current through the fuge to pull the sand out,It'd stay put.

Re: Sand bed questions

Just keep the pump off when you first put it in the sump and let it settle.
