Strange Burning smell

I came home last night after being away for the weekend and there was an acrid smell like burning plastic but it was NOT a strong smell. I looked at my complex of power cables and surge protectors but did not feel anything warm. Anyone had something like this happen? I may have to take everything apart for inspection.

Good suggestion, I'll check the bulbs.

Check everything. Not just this item or that item.Unplug and check every power head, pump, heater, the whole 9 yards. The recheck untill you know for a fact where the smells coming from.
