Arrow crab

Just purchased an arrow crab for my bristol worms. How do I get him out of the plastic bag he came in and into my tank if I don't have a net?

Re: Arrow crab

Just lower the bag down to the rocks and tilt the opening downwards, he should walk right out. That is what I do with all my fish/inverts. Nets tend to be rough on fish and the crab could get caught in the net.

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 55 gallon/20 gallon sump/Aquactinics TX5/LPS/SPS
Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 3 years
Other Intrests: My truck, wakeboarding, and golf. I also enjoy working....

Re: Arrow crab

Why do you want to get rid of your bristleworms??? I just addressed this in another thread.

Read this please:
http://www.livingreefs.com/forums/in...rimp-dead.html

The arrow crab will kill all the good living fauna in your sandbed, making your tank look dirty and making it more difficult to keep high water quality. Bristleworms are some of the most important cleaners you can have.
