get the nova extreme pro T-5's because they are strong lights for a decent price

So you just want soft corals,right?
The Nova Extreme(4x39w/T5-HO) will do nicely for soft and LPS corals.About $180-190 at most online vendors.

I have a nova extreme...very pleased with it, but upgraded the bulbs after about six months. The pro looks really sweet

And if you get the T5s people are suggesting, you will have no problem keeping more light demanding corals when you are ready. Because everyone here can tell you that it's not possible to just stop at softies!
