AGH!!!!!!!!!! my plate monti broke in HALF
  how it happened i dont know i didnt even notice it  is it dead , will it die it broke right at the center into 2 pieces what should i do , does this mean i have 2 montis now or no such luck ??

Take the two peices and glue them to two different peices of rock. They won't die unless you let them sit too long without attaching them and getting them in sufficient flow.

OK You have to do this as soon as possible to make sure they stay alive... Attach one to a rock and place ti back where it was thriving. Take the other, attach it to a seprate piece of rock, fill a bag with water and put it in. Put this bag in a box with my address and I'll let you kow how everything turns out.
