I guess that shoots down the theory for all those who say to keep your tank away from direct sunlight because it causes excess algae.

wow that is amazing!!! i am very impressed with that. I wonder how it all works on a cloudy day? i mean its not always sunny over the ocean. I wonder what kinda of look he gets on a cloudy day? I'm impressed

I'd say,it would be a lot more natural.With the clouds passing over and cloudy days.I can see where coral would do better.

This isn't something new. Many coral farms are actually greenhouses and they use natural light. In fact, ORA corals are grown in a greenhouse using natural light supplemented by metal halides.
